Since apparently this is a bug, despite this having existed for ages and having been done infront of. Numerous EMs and GMs. And also multiple people saying Dev has confirmed this ISN'T a bug.

Thorn Scratch (Rogue) procs multiple times over the course of a Wild Ride (Demon Hunter). Specifically speaking, it can smack twice per tile moved, and THREE times on the initial start up animation.

You Hop on (One damage instance), You Move Onto Them Proper (One Damage Instance), They Move (one damage instance).

then you repeat 2 and 3 for every tile you move.

Despite reading out as your weapon dealing the damage, earthbound vengeance cannot be used to trigger Hidden Cut from, I wouldn't be surprised if this is not a bug personally but I figure I would report it anyway given Hidden Cut tends to follow this logic.

so this has come up a lot recently and every time i see it i go peer at the fortunite description to double-check. i'm wondering if this has been reported before because the text doesn't match the behavior when evade ignores are in play.

> The next damage instance the target takes which is not a natural Evade or Glancing blow is forced to become a Glancing Blow, reducing the damage taken. (Only applies to one damage instance.)

however, damage instances that ignore evasion are always forced to glance, but do not deplete emergency evasion. this means one use of fortunite will work, for example, against every proc of divine shower.

assuming this behavior is intentional (allowing evasion builds 1M 80% DR against anybody only able to hit them with evade ignores) then the text should be corrected, if not, the behavior should be adjusted to actually fit the text.

Request Details -  Over 8 foot character! Familiar magic and arcane specialization for WEIRD THINGS THAT SHOULDN'T NEED TO BE SPELLS!
Specific Request - Scylla is a big lady, who I enjoy settling in a room whilst people go and urge her to sit down, when she's too big-boned to fit on a chair comfortably.

I'd like her to continue to be inconvenienced by it, with EVEN MORE REASON! I wished to settle her at about 8'1 or 8'2, just -barely- above the height cap, because it's tall enough for me to be comfortable with her being so, and not tall enough to undermine those that should be larger and bulkier than her, with another Ravenswatch character being a huge example of this.

She is also a Hyattr, so I do not think it's too off-course to make her thick and large, since they are oft bulky anyhow -- though she -does- have very small wings for her size, like really. It's two pairs that look like they're just made of fine silk, you could probably tear them off really easily if you tried.

On top of that since I'm going as far as doing this anyways, I will elaborate that I intend her to be a very unconventional magician, one that uses the arcane not for combat, not for healing, not for support, but simply for ease of life. Creating familiars to clean things and help her log documents, utilizing focus to create mystical threads to drape herself with, so on, so forth.

Typically, things that could just be doing normally, but she elects to doing so herself, alongside some more mystical things that I can speak to in detail with whoever chooses to take this app!


She also is not a capable combatant, like at all. At least not for the moment nor the near future.
It's not a requirement, but it could be cool. I will speak of further details in private!

  Crit evade meta

FAI and cevade are such popular stats nowadays that trying to play any critter without a stupidly high crit amp ability like veil off is absolutely awful, getting an extra 2m consistently this meta as a critter is borderline impossible because every 2nd person either has FAI out the ass or is running boneheart. DEF is dumped because of just how much better FAI is, FAITH IS VALUED MORE FOR DEFENSE THAN THE STAT LITERALLY NAMED 'DEFENSE', and on top of that provides Damage, some FP, and Healing. And if you're fighting someone who relies on crits, you get to negate almost all the stat points they've placed in to GUI, and now they're hitting you with a floppy noodle sword for 70 damage.. Not to mention basic hitters like critters are also the only people in the game affected by hesitation.

Playing a critter is just.. not fun in to most pvp matchups nowadays. It'd be nice if Crit evade reduced crit damage instead of just straight up making combat for critters not fun at all. Yeah, sure that'd require a lot of fine tuning to actually balance, but man it would actually make the game fun, because rn this just isn't fun.

Changing a whole race with a basic skill with no additional conditions is a little broken, boss man. The fact this turns into a free Stun that can be spammed by multiple rangers ended up a little too much, so let's reduce it a notch.

Can this be changed to something more dynamic and fitting of a Ranger's combo-oriented nature? Like:

While you have a Weapon Charge(s), and this is your main hand weapon: Gain immunity to knockback and pull effects.

This line on the Labrys is mythical. Mythical because it does not seem to function.

Labrys in main hand, excel charges, still get knocked back. Weep and cry.
Tested with an Arcane Labrys with potential unlocked. Tested by gaining excel charges both from external sources and Retaliating Charge. Will test different circumstances on request.

Ranger is probably way too good of a toolbox caster right now and that mostly comes from its Annorum effects.

I propose that Annorum now stacks to and requires 12 stacks in order to active the secondary effects. This would make the annorum skill usage more valuable as well as limit the output of healing, CC, and utility that a spellcaster ranger can offer.

I also propose that spellshot sigil now grant 2 stacks of annorum instead of 1. Basic attack ranger isn't really going nuts right now, it's just caster ranger and this keeps them apace.

PS:

Please nuke Attune Grudge and give Amalgama confirmation buffs...

Buster Cannon (status) should also make it so the unit cannot use Guard. 

It's a little vicious to see removing people's defenses, for them to just tank you anyway with the use of a shield, which reduces damage by a significant percentage.

We have plenty of things that ignore dodge in the game, but very few that makes Guard not work. I feel like this could be one of them.

Looks like your code is rebelling against you again, boss man!

Most descriptions of Guard Break around all of the game's tooltips refer to Guard Break as "Guard", because the system first scans the word 'Guard', before 'Guard Break' as a whole.

If it's an easy fix or not, I can only pray for your sanity.

Reaper Scythe seems to be a relic of an old era, and I suspect a few other effects don't refer to the status directly as 'Guard Break' (i.e, "guard broken", "remove your guard", "guard is broken", "guardus begonus", "guard minus guard", etc.) 

I'll post them as I find them, but for now, just Reaper Scythe.
