Vampiric Hunger |

I like how Banquet works, but at the same time, I've constantly wondered why something that is quite literally consuming blood (supposedly it's not, but holy blood burns in my mouth when I use it) isn't touching hunger at all... What I'm suggesting is that Banquet also serve as a 'hunger quenching' effect when used in combat... FOR THAT BATTLE ONLY. I/E A one off 'not hungry' if the person is hungry that round. Once the battle ends they heal (for a minimal amount of maybe... 5% 3% or something else ridiculously low, but worth it to use time and again since it's not a typical food) and their hunger's back at empty again. The hunger filling effect is omitted if the person ate food already.
Affected Skill: Banquet
Requirements: Hunger = 0
Effect: When Hunger is at 0, this skill is has an additional hit penalty of 5-10%, but restores hunger by 1.
Amount Healed: 2-10% HP/FP
---OR---
New Skill: Quench Hunger
Requirements: Hunger = 0 Essence = 100
Effect: Quench your hunger with the essence of others, filling you for ten battles (OR 50-100% HP/FP for one battle)
Reasoning: Banquet is currently used as a dark attack (with a minor penalty) to circumvent weapon durability loss. I rarely if ever see Silvermist or Lunar Lunatism used outside of fresh blood in the game. It's essentially just used to get that stat boost and then ignored. Hell, if done properly, it could be tuned down so that people can't rely on it for durability free melee. As is, banquet's broken in a few ways, both good and bad, but ultimately useless for it's original purpose of using the race skills for health/power (since most people just rely on class skills instead). This change/add-on would give it a use outside of combat that would give dungeon goers and event fighters long term viability at the cost of losing stats for a short time.

Save File Gone 3.24 |

Hello! I logged on today to not having a save to load. I verified I was logged on through OOC. And even tried to leave-party and change my face icon to boot me off, but my save is still gone. My shopkeep however is still there.
Key: iDarkCara
Edit: Not sure what happened to cause this. I was on most of the day yesterday grinding cores and such. Got a jackhammer logged off and on multiple times, then logged out last night about 1am EST. Came back after College to an empty key where there is no save file to load. However, I am still listed in the Guard Guild and my Shopkeeper is still present indicating the save isn't deleted but it is not accessible.

Stamina Ideas |

Physical Stamina could be used when:
-crafting weapons/armor (probably take as much stamina as the difficulty level?)
-mining
-fishing (could maybe use Mental too, as someone who fishes)
-clearing Beast Marks (although it should probably be based off character level for consumption)
-carrying over capacity for too long (like -1 per 25 steps maybe? I dunno)
-being "Hungry" (completely empty food bar) for more than 3 hours (-2 per hour, perhaps? Wouldn't affect Doriad, Vampire, Lich, Mechanation, Dullahan. Could also see this affecting Mental, if you're constantly thinking about your next meal)
Mental Stamina could be used when:
-gambling (CLARIFICATION: Goes up when you win, down when you lose.)
-crafting Alchemy items/Enchanting (probably take as much stamina as the difficulty level?)
-initially entering a BDP ("Am I mentally prepared to face all this weird shit?" probably about BDP lvl/10 consumption)
-gathering from Alchemy nodes. As suggested by Sarinpa1, because it would be a "spot and tell apart" thing.
-carrying lots of Murai. Maybe regen an extra +1 per 10,000 murai you carry (since apparently it's sooo easy to get Murai. I just have a hole in my pocket.)
-losing a fight (PVE only for now) since you also lose some murai and maybe items
I could see some of these idea spawning new item effects for new and current items (the cloak that prevents Fear at a certain percent could reduce Mental drain when entering BDPs, different fishing rods and baits affecting Physical drain, better pickaxe less Physical drain, etc), as well as effects for new and current races (Chata/Imperial humans less Physical drain for armor and weapons, Tannis human less drain for bows, Lispool/Karaten humans/Elves less drain for Alchemy/Enchanting, Onigan less drain from gambling, Kaelensian less drain from clearing Beast Marks, Shaitan less drain from BDP, etc).
More ideas welcome, of course.

E
-open/close unlocked dungeon doors.
-start/stop clearing up Beast Marks.
-should allow collection from outside (non-dungeon) nodes. It currently does not.
-act as View Info in battle. Like giving a list of enemies and allies to double click, to check statuses and HP/FP.
-open up the craft menu of whatever craft object (Alchemy Table, Anvil, etc) you are currently facing.
Shift E
-attempt to unlock dungeon doors.
Ctrl E
-attempt to bash locked dungeon doors.
Q
-open Quest Log. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.
C
-open Character Info. I thought that was a thing already, but apparently not. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.
Y
-open Youkai info panel. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.
P
-open Preferences panel.
L (linking these three to L because Level Up.)
-open Class Board. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.
Shift L
-open Talents Board. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.
Ctrl L
-open Traits Board. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.

I remember shortly after the E, Shift E, and Ctrl E shortcuts got added, they worked for dungeons in unlocking and opening doors, and chests. And now they only work on player home doors, and gathering from in-dungeon nodes.

Resistable Unresistable Fire Damage |

I've recently been working with the insulated burning bracer, which imparts +5 Unresistable Fire damage to all fist melee attacks, as it is said in its description. However, I've noticed several instances where this is not the case, such as...
Quote:Critical Hit! Onigan Ascetic attacks Sand Shark with the power of her fists and hits them!
Sand Shark takes 105 Blunt damage.
Resist! Sand Shark takes 2 Fire damage.
and
Quote:Onigan Ascetic attacks Soldier Kraboid with the power of her fists and hits them!
Soldier Kraboid takes 26 Blunt damage.
Soldier Kraboid takes 2 Fire damage.
and
Quote:Forgery attacks Onigan Ascetic with Heavy Ring and misses them!
Critical Hit! Onigan Ascetic attacks Forgery with Bare Fists and hits them!
Forgery takes 1 Blunt damage.
Forgery absorbs Fire damage!
Forgery recovered 5 HP.
Forgery takes 6 Blunt damage.
Although, I realize Unresistable doesn't technically mean Unabsorbable, I just figured I'd make a note of it anyway, For creatures that don't have +Fire resistance, it always does the full 5, otherwise it is lowered. No, it is not the material of my fist weapon being used, which is coral.

Simply put, Strong Legs doesn't work. At all. At least when used on yourself--I've yet to test it on another person, but I also had Longterm Care, and it also did nothing to help.
In this case, I was trying to cure Fear.
