The Life of a Demon: Autobiography of Elizabeth Viatolé |

This is an autobiography of an Alstalsian Zeran ambassador that can be purchased in bookstores within Alstalsia itself (therefore it is public knowledge). It encompases the life of Elizabeth Viatolé (Elizabeth Caito before marriage) and her perspective of life until she left from Alstalsia for unknown reasons. This is a thick, hardcover book, which is black and designed with artwork of her Crown on the front cover in gold colors. The book is written in Alstalsian (so if you don't understand the language, you can't read it).
(I'll be posting in this thread as I have time to write everything out and proof read it before posting. Essentially, I'll do a chapter a post.)

//It's annoying always having to make paper to make paper for I.C. reports, so since our great developer decided to stratify the forum for roleplay purposes, I decided to take advantage of this opportunity and place Mavis' reports somewhere far more easily accessible. It's also a better repository than in-game. I will, however, still be keeping reports in-game, but here's a much better route to tapping into reports within I.C. reasoning.
This list will be updated as seen fit and as patients flow in. I may make a new post per new patient from now on or not. Thank you.
//All information below is strictly private and cannot be used by other parties unless specifically stated so. If your character's name is on a report, then that means they have a copy of the report and can therefore use it as they see fit. Thank you.
//Please keep in mind that these are I.C. characters examined up to date. Mavis has many, many more patients than this, but they're all mostly NPCs. Thanks.
//All reports below are also legitimate in their status and standing. Mavis is an actual doctor.

Asago could offer more expensive private island dwellings, the island would be semi customizable (flora and furniture, but not shape, being able to add ponds) and change the climate (snowy/desert/tropical) and set the weather.
the island map would be between 1/2 and 1/4 the house map size and contain a player house somewhere on it, (house movable as furniture)
The house is your asago house
the islands are generated on purchase of the island house expansion.
Docks like the dormeho and chaturanga would have our good old sl1 ferryman to take you to an island ( Island can be set to Open to all / guild/ invite only)
Edit:
Basically it would work like this, Buy house ticket>Buy Island

IC exposure and why it's important. |

Everything your character does is a step up on the road towards a legend. Every deed, a page. Every exchange, a story. And through your actions, the world remembers... unless nobody knows about it. Whoops!
As you can see, I've made some changes to the in-character forum. In short, it's now an in-character category. Right now, it has a lot of relatively empty forums, and I'm counting on the community to change that.
A lot of people believe that nothing ever changes in SL2's world, and to a point, that's true. Some people feel this weakens the roleplay aspect of our roleplaying game, which can also be true. I am also always thinking about ways to improve that, and while this change is not the sum of my intended actions, it is one of them. But like roleplay itself, it is not a one person job. Let's talk about what the forums are there for, and why it's important that they're used.
First of all, the forums are there to serve as a record for things you've done in game; big and small. "But if you were there, you don't need a record, because you saw it." A logical statement, however, not all of us can be there. Myself and GMs, for example, might not be around, or busy with something else, during the time your roleplay occurs. The same goes for anyone else who might be interested in what's going on. Which is where we get into why it's important; if a tree falls in the forest and no one's around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Things such as event summaries or 'reactive reports' by IC parties help echo the sounds of activity through everyone, which makes the world feel more alive, even if the person reading it wasn't there or is involved. An increased awareness of activity leads to healthier attitudes and more excited RPers, who also want to be active. The same goes for some other forums I have added, like character biographies and journals. On a higher level, it lets me view things that happened in-game, even if I was not able to be there in person, which means that I, as the person who currently controls 'the world', can decide if I want to leave an imprint of it, or perform a 'reaction' by IC parties that players do not control.
As I said before, this is not the sum of my ideas for improving the roleplaying aspect of the game, but it is what I would call baby steps. If you want the world of SL2 to feel more alive, then give some serious consideration to utilizing the new In-Character forums as much as you can. If you have suggestions for additional forums, you can post them here. I'll also be moving topics from the existing In-Character forum to forums in that category where I feel appropriate, but if you are the topic author and think it might be better in a different forum, feel free to post in those topics about it.
tl;dr - Post in the new IC forums. Also share this forum post with people in-game so they are aware of it.

The Great Six Forum |

This forum contains six subforums; one each for the different continents we currently know about. There are no hard or specific criteria for topics posted in these, so long as they are not better served in another forum. For example, current or upcoming events in a town in that area could be posted here. Whatever you feel these forums could be used for, go for it. (If the event involves all of the areas somehow, you can use this, the parent forum, as well).

This is a forum for all your character trading needs.
1) Note that this forum is in-character, so notices should be posted with that in mind. Which is to say, no OOC comments that are not properly marked as such.
2) It is assumed that notices in this forum can be found relatively easily. If these notices are only in specific locations, be sure to list those details in your topic.
3) If a notice is no longer valid (as in, it has served its purpose), feel free to lock your topic; you can do so in this forum.

This forum is a place to post summaries/etc of IC events or as 'character journals', describing things they have experienced in their own words. Did your archenemy harass you in public again? Did something go down in town? Someone die? If so, why not make a topic about it? A few notes.
1) This is an in-character forum, so posts should be done in an in-character fashion. If it's a journal, write like your character would in their own journal. If it's an event summary, tell it from an outside perspective, or if your character is reporting the story (for example), post it like a news article.
2) The information in this forum is likely not public knowledge, unless specifically specified or obviously so. (The news article example would be public knowledge; character journals wouldn't be.) So no metagaming, as always.
3) If you're posting a journal, it would probably be ideal to post subsequent entries in the same topic, to save forum space.

This forum is a place you can post information about your character, similar to in-game character descriptions. You can use this forum to show off your character's backstory, accomplishments, personality, and so on.
Please note the following;
1) Information in this forum is not considered 'public knowledge', unless specified by the poster, so do not use the information to metagame.
2) Since this forum is not necessarily for discussion, you should refrain from posting in topics without a proper reason. However, this is up to the author of the topic; if they say replies are okay, you can post replies. If they say 'no replies please', do not post replies, please.
As always, be respectful, etc.

Once we craft an item in the alchemy list that was made via a secret recipe, can we get it to save into our list like back in SL1? Most people know them anyway, and it would be helpful to people who have already made the item in case they wanted to make another without having to jot it down somewhere.
Either that, or can we get these as recipe cards? Even if they only get dropped by certain monsters or something?

Can these be changed to unresistable damage? Getting 5 RES, let alone fire element resistances is a joke in the first place because of how easy it is. I think doing that would make this item worthwhile. Otherwise, you're just dealing 0 damage for wasting your hands slot, which is pretty lame for a 5* item.
