Just a real. Simple sweet thread, because I had the displeasure of trying to use this race.

Base stats? Whatever. Bad, but manageable.

Dragon Breath? It scales with your level, costing 50 fp at level 60. And has worse scaling on it than a youkai invocation.

NOT ONLY THIS. But it also requires 15 san and a trait??? So you can actually use channel magic / destruction simultaneously to actually get the full breath effect?

Ontop of 9 momentum to get the attack out?

Please. I am begging on my hands and knees here. WHAT IS THIS?

PUT THE SCALING IN THE MODERN ERA. PLEASE.

A lot of races are left behind when it comes to power budget nowadays.

It'd be nice for a more sweeping comb over to place each race at roughly the same amount of value rather than working piecemeal over the span of multiple years.

Onto the point of this topic though. I still remember when I made my thread on Fire Breath before the Great Reckoning happened. When it still did half damage cinders and instantly vaporized people. It got nerfed then got retooled in GR to be nigh useless.

I'd say just make this trait line base kit, it's borderline mandatory to make Hyattr function and only serves as a newbie trap for players who don't realize how vital they are to get.

Then make each channel skill 2m. Easiest way to alleviate the problem without any massive overhauls. Removing field objects is a good enough utility in my eyes to not need a large damage increase. At most I'd say increase it from half character level to full character level. Maybe give it a +10 to its cinder level to compensate for lacking the prayer tool on Korvara.
