I woke up 56% less insane today, let's try this again. Effects will happen on top of their current effects and conditions.

  Mob Spawn Rate (Korvara)

Currently mobs respawn in dungeons on Korvara every 2 in-game hours. This equates to roughly every 15 minutes real time provided no server lag affects BYOND tick rate.

This makes it fairly easy to wipe out an entire dungeon well before the mobs would come back with only a single party active, making for a whole lot of waiting if you're trying farm the same dungeon, or sharing it with anyone else.

Could we have the spawn rate changed to every in-game hour? If not providing some option to increase the spawn rate of a dungeon by paying cypelle or something, so that the dungeons can better handle high activity, such as in the wake of new items dropping.

It feels bad that your best option when you want to farm a dungeon is to spend 1-2 minutes wiping relevant spawns then waiting for 13+ minutes.

This makes for a lot of empty time that artificially inflates the time players/characters spend grinding and thus not being able to participate in RP, I feel it'd be more fun and engaging for everyone if we didn't all have to spend so much time tabbing out of the game while we wait for spawns to come back.

EDIT:

I think it also worth mentioning that the number of monster spawns available could afford to be slightly increased in dungeons that aren't Terra Flamma. For whatever reason Terra Flamma has about double the number of mob spawns (and still gets totally wiped with an in-game hour typically). Even if just one more spawn of each level bracket is added.

  Tome Dual Wielding

Currently, when you have two differently elemented tomes equipped, spells will cast with whichever's in your mainhand. Instead, it'd probably be better for mages if it used whichever is the same element, if applicable, to apply the bonus instead. So, for example, say you have a Chorusaf in your mainhand and a Hymnnurtach in your subhand, if you cast Shine Ray, it'd use the Chorusaf, but if you cast Eternal Darkness, it'd use the Hymnurtach.

This is mainly to give book-mages more flexibility with their spells, since at the moment staff-mages are kinda just... better, unless you can't afford to take two-hand for whatever reason.

While this is not technically a bug, and is more of a leftover from the past, basically all targeted gap closers turn you towards the target you're attacking (hanging/geldoren/pinball/warp strike etc.) except for Heaven Kick, which can leave you open if you decide to end your turn with it, as it almost always faces down after the attack you could have a random (and likely) chance of leaving your sides or back exposed, or you have to spend extra FP to turn around with shukuchi.

I'm sorry if it ain't a bug but I figure I'd try this first before going elsewhere.

THE DREADED HUMAN BUG!

It was me! I was the BUG all along! I logged in today inside the Meiaquar Inn. I've been transformed into the fireball by THE WATCHER. I am now his minon! My stats have all been reduced reset and redacted and It's like I'm level 1. My class skills are all gone, and my class sub class button has been removed. Talents and Traits aren't correct and my star sign is gone. I'm not sure what else is messed up, but I'm pretty sure something else is. I quickly rushed to IMGUR to take screenshots which was also annoying to upload! Also my Legend Book is gone. I'm BUGGED!

(I actually don't know what's going on, but was told by a GM to post here for Dev to fix me.)

After defeating an NPC enemy or attacking a knocked out Player, upon using Sheath Sword (Fatal Stroke from Hisen) on the same round, the potential skill's visual effects will still activate even if there is no valid enemy to activate Hidden Cut towards.

This will make it so the screen becomes red, but, given there are no enemies available to receive damage, it will do nothing as Hidden Cut will not activate.

The skill should probably check if Hidden Cut's damage will proc before attempting to do its own effects.

Like most of other stances, could Kensei's Absolute Stances stay active and persist through battles, so we don't need to always activate it on every combat start?

Ideally this would go away if you relog or reboot hits.

Not sure if this has always been the case, but grapple can be used even if there's nobody to target. The indicator is always blue, allowing you to grapple the air and be provided an error message for doing so.

A few items that are on the 8 and 9 star drop tables are items that are just.. so horrendously underwhelming that they have, legitimately, no reason being 8 or 9 stars.




8*
Accessories
All of the +5 x attack accessories. There are ten of these.

Torsos
Literally every single "This armor gives more stats if you're x main class!" These are, generally, never better than.. a plethora of other gear options. Only Farmer's Shirt and Healer's Cloak is good here (and that's because Farmer's SHirt has as much evade as a Wisp cloak)

Boots
Sanctified Shoes are craftable.
Ulreneka: On Kick: Replaces your Water ATK with the target's for 2 rounds. -- Yeah no. These. These are just bad. Throw them down to 5 star.

Weapons
LITERALLY EVERY ON HIT REPLACE ELE ATTACK. JUST. THROW THEM DOWN. There is one for every weapon type, and they are universally never used and despised for being one of the single largest cases of bloat into the 8 star field. If the worry is Mutation, make them mutate into the same type of weapon.
All of the 8 star Fan tomes. They have 2 power, and awful effects. The Coastal Squall outshines them in every single way.

9*
Accessories
Cypelle Amulet (One time use, +25 FP. Could stand to be reduced)

Torsos
All of the Elemental Gis. These are craftable. Why are they here. There are 5 sitting in this drop pool.
Rough Ranger ... Why is this a 9 star?
Worg Pelt Again, why is this a 9 star. It's craftable. Is everything that's craftable just something we throw in the 8/9 star pool?

Hands
I promise you that Magnetic Shield is not a 9 star. I promise you. It doesnt even work, and even if it does. It's being used by a Soldier class anyways. Which will have protect.

Weapons
Fae Bow can be put as the same rarity as it takes for a mutation to make it into a bow. 
Jackhammer can go down to 8 star. It's craftable.
Sogensara is a 9 star? Why......... Just make it any other rarity. It's rare, but it not THAT good.


Please. I am just begging. Shift rarity of 8/9 stars around.

When extended beyond 2 range, the next turn seems to roll over during the middle of Aliagmato's dash animation, which can lead to some funny interactions where people can catch you mid journey with an attack they shouldn't.

Source: I've literally seen monsters move out of the attack while I'm dashing at them.
