Frayed Voidgates? Magaisendo? Sear? Ryemei? I'm atill at 0 void energy after all of that.

You can clearly see Kelsey just took a Sear and a Magaisendo. Evasion procced, so armor is not heavy. 0 Void Energy, still.

Works just fine for me, so I imagine the whole "armor has to be cloth" thing might be the problem why.

The character in question is unarmored. As in LITERALLY unarmored; they had heavy armor before unlocking VA so I took it off. Did not replace it yet.
I swear, if equipping a wisp cloak fixes the issue, I will smash a wall down with my forehead in dismay.
EDIT:
Equipping a wisp cloak DID fix the issue. BRB giving myself permanent brain damage.
