Chargemind payment plan

I suggest that charge mind be altered to work like sol charge

Fp changed to scale on momentum and effect changed to power up cm by 1 level per 2 momentum, granting a level of ephemeral insight for each level above 3 that would be reached

This would be op for 2 reasons

- 2 charges for 4m is too good on a class that is mostly doing 3m
- you'd be able to keep it at a high level of charges (oscillating between 3 and 1)

I'm not sure how I feel about it but I think if it was balanced, like with a higher cooldown, it sounds fun for sure

CM 3 aoe, akashic, evade ignore Ryemei -> 4m charge -> repeat would be a little rough as is

I'm fine with figuring this out maybe per 3m spent
Its just as is its 6m, half the identity of the class and you only can safely pop it round 1

I don't really think it's half the identity of the class. I run an Evoker and I basically never use Charge Mind... mainly because I need to evade-buff turn 1.

I personally think it's good as is. It doesn't see much use because of how much momentum it takes, but I just generally prefer 'damage storing' being like this IMO. Otherwise you get to the point where you're 'oneshotting' players and that's not very fun.

I don't understand the obsession with changing CM. It's fine as is.

It feels garbage to use these days, you pop it turn 1 and maybe a 2nd time if the enemy ever kites away for a round

Essentially in the much more mobile gameplay of today I feel most evokers would enjoy being able to reposition and then spend their remaining momtum on 1 or 2 stacks of cm

I've found great success stacking it with excel charges as a zoning tool; it lets me reliably manage several aggressive classes that would otherwise screw my team over, and that's rare in the dodge meta.

Frankly, I'd like the +30% damage on excel 3 removed because of poor balance philosophy related to stored damage. Solblader and Rune Mage have topped tier lists since their release because of their propensity to sit 13 tiles away, buff for 3 turns, and subsequently one tap someone. Right now, Evoker teeters dangerously close to being able to do that; it's just held back by its inability to drop two excel 3 spells at extreme ranges.

I don't think Solblader's consequence of abusing distance to build up an instant kill is a good balance point, and I don't think that type of play should be encouraged in any capacity. Old Evoker is gone for good reason.

Pictured below: A Solblader zipping 20+ tiles away and dealing about 30% of someone's HP.
