We just need more means of inflicting healing reduction on enemies. Mages could be quite proficient at it by using elemental combinations. Like using Fire then Ice on someone would inflict a debuff on healing, by making their bodies weaker due to temperature shock, etc.

I mean, you sort of can argue this is already the case. "Can I outdamage or disable a healer" is a very much existing checkbox, as far as I'm aware, that hypothetical would just bring more options to check that box
