Adaptation could lower momentum costs for swapping a weapon type from your side to your main/off-hand, if not atleast for Demon Hunter as a passive.
LV1 Subtalent = -1M
LV3 Subtalent = -2M
LV5 Subtalent = -3M

I already spoke my thoughts in this here
post.  But i'm against the Adaptation method for a singular reason in that being able to equip weapons for utility purposes outside of your class parameters is already powerful enough as is.
Especially when you can easily fit in the extra momentum and talent point cost to just freely swap around weapons with no penalty what-so-ever. Just make it a DH Passive and make it refund momentum just like the Shuriken Swapping or some shit.
Just don't directly tie it to Adaptation. Even if it's only a singular weapon type, that's still just as potent since most classes/builds often only stick to a singular weapon type to be the most potent.
