Is Combination Strike supposed to function in the event that the first attack is from a promotion's base class, then the next attack is from the promotion itself? I vaguely recall this coming up before, but I can't seem to find where. To clarify:
If a Verglas uses Heaven Kick -> Expanding Ice, should the latter gain any bonus?
If a Monk/Evoker uses Fir -> Sear, should Sear gain a bonus?
Currently it does not.

It says it has to be from the same class so I think it is functioning as intended.

Base class skills are listed under skills belonging to the promo when you double click on them in the class menu, unless that was recently changed. So is it really working as intended, if the skills DO belong to the same class?

I want to add a question to this, since it´s kinda the same topic.
Bonder/GS/Summoner:
If I use two Youkai skills, are they supposed to get a bonus? Since technically they are from the same class, no?

Youkai skills do not belong to any class, so no.
