Korvaran Borders, stagnation, and a lack of hostilities.
#17
I feel at best if you went crazy and ripped open that band aid it would ignite tensions again, and it's pretty much very clear nobody wants to retread that experience, so while I'm sure you probably -could- the question is whether that would be enjoyed, at least with that hypothetical (although it does seem like the kind of hypothetical you absolutely want to go through with).

As with claiming territory, that's a whole different headache, because on one hand people overexpand until there's nothing left for anyone else to aim for, and on the other hand actively restricting it just isn't the most healthy either. I think that's a kind of "two crowds" thing, really, where there's some sentiment that things feel cluttered and over claimed but at the same time the response of keeping everything neutral or hammerspace so that nobody can claim anything isn't great either. That expansionism, as sad as it can be, is kind of part of the progression of some nations and without it in some degree it just feels like clipped wings.

And no, I don't think the solution to that problem is G6 housing, no matter how much anyone else says. Not without limitations that would probably just leave the people wanting that back unhappy in the first place, to keep people actually in-world and not just making fantasy lands or whole other nations in a private house. Not after all the effort that went into actually making Korvara more uniform, in a sense.
