Mechanation Application guidelines:
1) Humanoid-like face/head. Two eyes, a nose, a mouth. Necessary for the Mechanation to recognize itself as an individual.
2) Human-like body. Two arms, a torso, two legs; no centaur bodies, no octopus legs, no tank treads, etc.
3) Limbs have more flexibility and can have some 'gadgetry', such as weapons concealed in them (gun fingers), things such as the Agile boosters. They can have claw fingers or just be a hammer from the wrist down. They have can things like hooves for feet. They can be removable. They can be operated by internal strings (IE puppet mechs).
4) Things such as synthetic animal ears (similar to how a Lupine has animal ears) are fine. Aesthetic things such as fake wings are fine but non-functional, (see: they can't fly or flap like a Corbie might) though they can be used for short term boosts in to the air or through it for Agile mechs.
5) Nothing too futuristic. This is a fantasy setting and has a heavy emphasis on magic rather than technology; Engi bots and mechanations are glorified scrap golems. No inbuilt cameras. No holograms. No recording and playing back conversations. No speakers. No techno armor. No gas canisters. No cloaking fields. No digital displays. Etc.
Example Playbys:
Aigis (the gold standard), 2B/2A/etc (Nier Automata), Android 16/17/18/19/20 (DBZ), The Plain Doll (Bloodborne).
