It's situational but it's still just one of their multiple effects they'd have and it's certainly better than doing nothing on top of keeping the theme the same.

I'm not being mean or anything, but those were horrible examples and I pretty much paraphrased them in my own post. All it does from what you're saying is make it so you know what not to use, it doesn't truly give you anything advantageous.
