Youkai aren't nearly strong enough to warrant how troublesome it is to use them.

Youkai and Summoner in general are used in a vast amount of the most powerful setups. I do agree, however, that leveling them shouldn't be this difficult. Nor should it be a reason to justify them being so powerful.
