Agree, it already gives more weight and removes a big part of how people pad out their damage, crit, hit... as things currently are, -5 hit is overkill on top of it all.

I've been saying this for years. Yes agreed, it does not need another downside on top of increasing weight. That is already enough of a downside to warrant susceptibility in even utilizing it due to BW on top of mutation not even being the most popular enchant as most people have no need to regularly change their weapon type for most builds. Mutation is an enchant for people seeking to do out of the ordinary class combos and something niche, checking out of the box.
