Martial Artist Skill Crunch

Martial Artist and its subclasses, without outright addressing skill balancing, suffer from a significant issue where a large portion of the skills cost an extremely expensive 5 points for what can often be considered mediocre returns. Even on a destiny MA, classes like Monk often lack versatility because you can't really afford the additional offensive options.


I think they need to be reduced to 3 point costs. Some skills also need minor effect changes to be useful (like fighting pace.)

I can totally get behind this, expecially now that we have +1 Skill Pool per 10 lvls, some classes feel like we get too much for too little, and I often find myself not taking some skills, even as a destiny.

We've done it with Demon Hunter, so I think going through and updating classes to make them more Skill Point friendly is needed!

A few soldier skills could use this
5 points to get a lot of the skills from 100 to 120 SWA with an increased FP skill isn't that optimal
Same for Weapon Discipline costing so much for just being a QOL. ( It takes up a slot, too-)

Also these skills could probably do with going to capping at 130-150% swa instead of 100.....they don't have an elemental attack slapped on top of them.

Specifically Dense thunder/ light tomahawk, and sky chariot.....
