I can see (Dark) Bard as a Rogue Promotion, mixing between buffs, debuffs and tunes that sound like three guitars hugging a running engine to the background of cats being thrown into a blender.

If Dark Bard was a promotion to Rogue, I could see it getting a passive that'd make the wind buff skills from Rogue an AoE around the bard.

And then dev adds the condition to unlock dark bard as beating professor pink in a fight.
