It'd be nice if there could be a little eye-icon in the top right of your screen while you're either in a battle or observing one, and when you interact with this eye, in one fashion or another, the list of people currently in the fight (Grandupper hides people for a bit after all) and those currently observing, are revealed.

What would the benefit be? Well, a few things. First of all, sometimes you're trying to talk to someone outside of a fight, but are watching the fight, and aren't sure if they can read what you'll have typed. Clicking the eye, you'll know what to do.

If you're in a dungeon, and someone talks to you wanting to join and you take a moment too long to respond, you'll be able to press the eye and it will tell you if they'll still hear you or not.

This could also have interactability with issues of joining parties in particular maps (looking at Castles) or in situations where sight is obstructed, such as the Firespitter round in the Colossal Tower or whenever someone uses Smokescreen to just block people from joining in a fight. I vouch fully for this.
