As umbrals already have this effect, I was thinking that Kaelinisians should be able to take a trait to gain night sight like they have, lock it behind having at least 30 sanctity or something to reflect the strength of their eyes. Ultimately it doesn't do much of anything to benefit people mechanically, it's just for fluff. I hate having to pull out a torch so I can see despite my 52 sanctity.
Potentially could be included for some other races like vampires, but the main focus of this was Kaelinisians.

They don't need 30 SAN at all, I believe Golden Eyes should give them a larger field of view by default. Same for Vampires too, given these are aspected to be night dwellers.

Give them a larger view based on how much San they have.

A good idea, though I tried to keep it simple to implement is the only reason why I didn't suggest anything like that. Would work for both vamps and kaels. Could also work to inverse umbrals night vision.
