(DISCLAIMER: Everything here is to my personal opinion and not a definitive "YOU HAVE TO DO THIS" guide. These're just tips and things that I've found work for me over the years that I wanted to share.)
Hello! Welcome to the "I'm very stupid and I want to make a guide" guide I've put together! This entire thread is just gonna be me laying out how I've come to do things over the years, since every guide is kind of scattered, from over five years ago, or just not too helpful. It's always said that you should never judge a book by it's cover... but I know for a fact that you are judged on the quality of your icons and profile. I always love to help people, so I figured maybe this would help many more people by being open and available at anytime for everyone who could ever need it! All of these, for ease of access and everything... are video-based! Hopefully they should help. I checked and made sure my voice was clear, even if I fuddled words, so they should be understandable.

- Picking a portrait and your icons!
- How to make icons and how to compress them with little to no hassle at all.
- How to crop a portrait for your profile, and how to make it not squished or un-visible.
- How to recolor both icons and portraits alike.
- A guide to working with SL2's profiling.
If it's ever required, I'll be more than happy to make addendum guides!

Did you know the forums has a "one video per post" rule hardcoded? I hate the forums. :)
