Despite not being in a guild, the guild icon shows up anyways instead of being hidden as it were before, and when clicked on it will simply state 'you are not in a guild.'

Intentional according to Dev, he mentioned it as part of the optimizations.
(Likely so it doesn't check if you're in a guild everytime you log in/each tick)

Well if its intentional then thats fine, it behaved somewhat like a bug and I was not aware it was intentional, consider this moot then.
