Currently there's no way to get Fleeting/Rustic/Demonic gear outside of getting really, really, lucky. We can curse gear, so can we get some catalysts to make these bad boys?

I have a couple cursed weapons that I happened to get through dropping and it feels really special whenever I get a good str scaling demonic weapon.
I think straight up catalysts would kinda devalue the current cursed weaponry in the game, just like divine eye in Korvara made divine weapons feel less special, but at least the catalyst is so hard to get that it still feels special. I don't like the idea of cursed catalysts, but I do think something like- X bosses having a higher chance of dropping cursed weapons would be cool, things like Death Knight from Duyuei Crypt and Shadow Guardian from Worsong Temple.

I'd much prefer it the old way without being able to so easily slot in what you want, because then items have a stronger value as opposed to everyone hoarding money, but I suppose that's not the point I'm trying to make here. The point I'm making is I think we're too far along the path in this case now and keeping one specific niche of the system like this isn't really fitting for the system as a whole, because then it's just awkward to build hexers as opposed to being awkward to build anything else. ![]() |
