Idk about snipe, tbh.
Keyshot 4 Gunz would be nice, but not armor ignore, just the +15 crit tbh. That would help a lot with stat distribution.

15 armor ignore is insane, but yeah just making keyshot apply to guns as well as bows would be a good start. The crit and crit damage on snipe seems kinda redundant with keyshot. Why not just give them the hit bonus of snipe?

I suffer more with crit building than hit building with guns, feels like. I just wanted it to be different, BUT, alternately.
Just make them work by default with guns as a fix, it'd be more than enough for me. Not like 'sniping' and 'keyshooting' are exclusive things for archery, right?

I actually think bringing back armor ignoring properties to guns is a good thing for them to have, even if partial, it'd be a good check to armor stacking in general and would be a variable increase to their damage depending on the opponent's armor type, making up for the lack of 2H compared to martial weapons or on-hits like daggers/fists have.

I do agree with guns kind of being an answer to physical armor. Tanks are currently eating very good compared to the other defensive option (evade) and they should be made to fear something.

Honestly, I kind feel the complete opposite, I feel like having phys. armour is the counter to guns. (At least handguns)
Something like VA with daggers is, to me, what is supposed to counter phys.armor. (Akmedis kind of stopping a fair amount.)
Of course this is all subjective, I just go off the fact VA has anti-armor passives, and both guns and daggers being the counter could be true, even if I'm inclined to believe it's mainly daggers.
On top of that: If you're not against a Kensei, there's not many things that will parry a gun. (Kensei and Mirror will deflect it, though.)
Gun definitely has it's fair share of trade-offs, I'm 100% for a Keyshot 4 Gunz, so gun users can get a little more crit, but armor pen is a weakness that it has and I kind of like that.
