Yup, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got into this situation, guess I'll start from the beginning.

Can we talk about how field effects, the primary agressors being mist skills and smoke tiles, just make it really difficult to know what is going on?

Earthbound Fog is so ugly, I cry every time a Hexer presses that button. But also it's a really good button mechanically so I cannot completely fault them. But look at that! Earthbound Fog was stacked on top of darkness tiles... there was about 6 enemies in that with me... I have no idea whatsoever what was happening inside there.

This thread is in balance because I don't know where else I'd post this, but I think these buttons really need a (visual) nerf.

Really. I think Earthbound Fog could just use an effect that doesn't take the entire screen. Same goes for other mist skills.

The thread is called visual stacking but I don't think that is a problem *most* of the time. But Earthbound Fog really just occupies TOO MUCH space on your screen so it's impossible to NOT stack visuals.

I think the last three raid-fights I had there was a hexer using earthbound fog and I genuinely respect and love them but I want to take that visual effect and throw it into hawaii so it can have infinite vacation.

Mist skills, light shafts, smoke, darkness tiles... Ah yes, there's also setting sun, and the rookstar buff. All of these things could use a little transparency pass. There's also still an issue with certain effects preventing people from double clicking you, which is a very annoying thing especially because you want to be able to know people's status when you can't it see at a glance. Some buffs also make it hard to see other buffs, doubly more troublesome when visibility is impaired due to field effects....

An option to disable 'annoying' field effects, or even just lessen them would be nice.

Smoke Tiles, Light Shafts (Mass Brighten), Earthbound Fog, Mercalan Mist, Setting Sun..

But also.

CAMERA FLASH. SETTING SUN DETONATION. SUN FLARE.

Please. Getting Flash Banged by the game does NOT sound fun.
