Hi, yes uh.
Today, 8:20pm HST, I put my fishing rod in the water and got an immediate bite. Several times. It was instant. I was speedrunning fishing. In and out fishing. I don't know how to explain it other than it was faster than necessary.
Chain fishing? Just really fast. As soon as I pressed the button, I got a bite, did the arrow thing, got a fish, put the fishing rod in again and got another immediate bite.

EDIT: Hello yes other people have experienced instant fish.

Honestly wouldn't be opposed to having this bug turned into a feature.

I can confirm this is happening for some reason, though I'd like for it to be a feature of Super Rod. It'd make fishing less of a boring chore.
I'd like to add that there's another bug that if you use a special fish bait (Frog Bait for example), you'll still get random fish as if you're using Worm Bait instead.

I was noticing this too, which is incredibly annoying when farming puffers.
Having it be a feature of the super rod would be nice :clap:
