I've been thinking that we could use more dual weapon types that haven't been implemented yet.
Examples would be: A short sword that counts as a dagger, a bow that counts as a gun as well, an axe that counts as a dagger (a hatchet obviously), a fist that counts as a sword (a gauntlet that has a retractable blade), and so on. This can also apply to more tome shifting weapons which would be neat.
Feel free to suggest some more combos people!
