They need...something....
With the loss of upgrade from Engineer, mechanations lack any form of decent racial bonus.
They have 15% fire and ice Resist (these won't proc a resist) . a 25% lightning weakness.
Increased carry weight (dullahans have a better weight based racial and cool abilities) but we have banks for that
Increased install duration by 1 turn...so 1 more turn of having lower stats than I normally do.
Also with the end of racial growths theres not much differentation other than base states for mechanations.
With the new engineer update making guile the science stat, I feel that each mechanation type should have some kind of passive that scales on guile.
Also purchasable traits for mechanations that would represent upgrades for them.
and allow mechanations to craft mechanation weapons like ones from SL1

Maybe said mechanation-weapons could all have primarily GUI-scaling. Like the aforementioned finger gun could be 25% SKI / 75% GUI.

As a refresher for anyone who forgot or never played SL1 Heres the mechanation weapons that existed
Finger Buster- a multishot machinegun from the finger
Arcane Saber- Megaman energy Blade hand, could be simple enough to make a spear/axe/katana/dagger version
Rocket Fist- 3 Range fist
So something for mage mechs might need to be made, Or the arcane weapons could also be spell edge.
Actually the scaling could depend on what mech type they are
Arcane saber/rocket fist as a standard 60/60 str guile Finger buster 60/60 guile skill
Arcane saber/rocket fist as cabal 60/60 guile will Finger buster 40/40/40 guile will skill
Arcane saber rocket fist as agile 60/60 guile cel Finger buster 60/60 guile skill
Arcane saber rocket fist as raid 40/40/40 guile str will Finger buster 40/40/40 guile will skil

Would like to see a single-shot option too, though, since that's been the only kind of MG worth playing for a very long time. Maybe "Wrist Magnum" or something.

Sure why not, a wrist magnum, more base power than finger buster, but one shot.
