Intelligent Discourse: Lantern Bearer - MegaBlues - 08-17-2015 Here's a thread about everything wrong (and right) with the aforementioned class. Please be civil, and avoid derailing the topic, as well as referring to the class in conjunction with other classes, as each class should be able to stand on its own. Potential Topics: Lack of effectiveness (Damage/debuffs/buffs), range penalties, Phoenix, FP costs Re: Intelligent Discourse: Lantern Bearer - Autumn - 08-23-2015 I'd like to bring up a discussion on how you could make this class seem to do damage, as well as integrating spear attacks since that seems to be the direction this class wants to be taking now? from the most recent additions like Skyhigh and Typhur Which btw I'd like to point currently that Skyhigh + Typhur combo will not work on airborne targets wearing spiked treads. A few things that could make this class better. LB as a support and damage is outclassed by priest, only being useful now for Stat walls, AoEs and RES tanking(and of course growths + grinding), using Spears on this class without both good Str and will will end up just being nigh useless. So here are a few things I might add: A passive that changes the attack formula for spears to str/2 + will/2, This would synergize with Skyhigh and Imbue strike well. A buff/togglable ability that could attract enemies to the lantern bearer when you haven't moved in that round, since LB's gotta be close to reliably damage/inflict status.(perhaps even change Bask in the light to this) any other suggestions perhaps? Re: Intelligent Discourse: Lantern Bearer - Soapy - 08-23-2015 Making the damage/infliction multiplier start at 20-30% higher might be a good idea. |
