So as I was trying make yet another build, I came the not-so-pleasant realization that while Install avoids replacing the FAI/SAN/APT stats, it *does* replace GUI. This wouldn't be much of an issue... if any youkai race had base GUI at all. Yup, they're all at 0, meaning that if you want to use anything scaling guile past softcap at all, you're kind of shot in the leg. This was probably less of an issue back when Install only modified the racial base values while leaving softcaps untouched, but now that it updates the latter accordingly, Install just becomes a straight up detriment to use for high GUI builds since you're losing anywhere upwards to 4-8 points of stats and softcap for daring to use your mainclass feature.

This could be fixed in one of two ways really:

1. Add GUI to the racial stats that aren't replaced during install. (Probably the easier and less intrusive fix across the board)
2. Add GUI bases to all the youkai types. This would keep GUI being replaced without making it such a devastating drop-off in scaled stats, though this also indirectly buffs summoned youkai across the board slightly.

I'd rather the youkai just get base GUI added to their roster, we're nearing a level of install where some races clearly benefit more than others, namely the ones with high FAI, SAN and APT. This makes sense thematically for summoner so this is fine where it's at right now.

For example, Heron and Lispoolian both have the highest racial bases of any race when installed, going as far above as both effectively having +11 stats over races that don't have FAI/SAN/APT.

Which is quite a hefty stat bonus.

Real TRUE equality would be you get the BETTER of your racial base or the YOUKAIS!!!
