This is not for me to play but more on the asking if
A chimera ate a mimic, would it cause a mutation.
For anyone that might want to later play one.

I would say no, as Mimics are only really able to mimic in-animate objects of small or medium scale. If a Chimera were to eat one, I don't think it would cause any mutation since Chimera's wouldn't be able to mutate characteristics from something that mimics other things. In a way, they cancel each other out.
